The name Embera means "people". Collectively they are known as the Chocó and belong to two major groups: the Emberá, of upper Atrato and San Juan rivers, and the Wounaan of the lower San Juan River. We work with the Emberá women to market their traditional artwork, and look forward to sharing it with you.
